Maharashtra Class 11 Admissions 2026-27: CAP Round 1 Schedule Released, Key Dates for Nagpur StudentsThe School Education Department has announced a major update to Maharashtra’s centralised online admission process (CAP) for Class 11 for the academic year 2026-27, covering both secondary and higher secondary levels. The information was officially confirmed by Education Commissioner Dr. Mahesh Palkar.
Around 9,16,695 students have registered for admissions so far. Registration under the mandatory Nondणी Fee-1 (CAP Form) is underway, with students required to complete the process by May 23 by 6:00 pm. Students must note they cannot add new colleges or change options after this deadline. The Option Form must be submitted before May 23 at 6:00 pm.
Key Schedule — Round 1:
• May 24–26: Students verify eligibility and complete the allotment process online
• May 26 (by 11:00 pm): First college allotment list published; SMS notification sent to students
• May 26 (11:00 pm) to May 29 (6:00 pm): Students must report to allotted colleges with ‘Proceed for Admission’ form
• June 9 (11:00 am): Vacant seat list for Round 2 published
