As Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 12 years at the Centre and setting a new record as India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, the NDA leadership will assemble at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Wednesday for a high-level strategy meeting.
The conclave, scheduled for 3 pm, will be chaired by Modi and attended by Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers and senior leaders from all 22 NDA-ruled States and Union Territories. Senior Union ministers, including Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, will also participate. Among the prominent attendees are expected to be Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Mohan Yadav, Bhupendra Patel and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Sources said the meeting will review the implementation of major welfare and infrastructure initiatives, assess progress towards the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision and discuss key national and international developments, including the evolving situation in West Asia. The gathering comes as the NDA marks 12 years in power at the Centre.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs highlighted India’s growing global stature under Modi’s leadership, citing initiatives such as the International Solar Alliance, expansion of UPI-led digital infrastructure and India’s increasing role in representing the interests of developing nations. The ministry also pointed to India’s contributions during international crises and humanitarian emergencies.
The Prime Minister has received congratulatory messages from political leaders, ministers and international dignitaries on the occasion. By completing 4,399 consecutive days in office on June 10, Modi surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru’s record of 4,398 uninterrupted days as Prime Minister after the first General Election, creating a new milestone in Indian politics.
