The makers of the much-anticipated reality show Lock Upp Season 2 have finally released the first promo, offering a glimpse of the new season and its hosts, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.
The duo will take over hosting duties from Kangana Ranaut, who fronted the inaugural season of the reality show.

The newly unveiled promo features Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh inside a prison setting, hinting at the show’s signature format. The teaser suggests that contestants will have to confront and reveal their truths — no matter how dark or controversial — in order to survive the competition.
Release date and streaming platform
Lock Upp Season 2 is set to premiere on June 27, 2026, on the streaming platform Netflix.
New episodes will be released from Saturday to Wednesday at 8 pm, bringing viewers regular doses of drama, challenges and eliminations.
Contestants and format
According to the promo, the season will run for six weeks and feature 14 celebrity contestants locked inside the house.
While the official contestant list is yet to be announced, names such as Kusha Kapila and Ram Kapoor have surfaced online as potential participants.
Throughout the season, contestants will face a series of daily tasks, chargesheets, punishments and eliminations as they compete to stay in the game.
A look back at Season 1
The first season of Lock Upp was hosted by Kangana Ranaut, with Karan Kundrra serving as the jailer.
Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner of the debut season, while Payal Rohatgi finished as the first runner-up and Anjali Arora secured the second runner-up position.
Apart from the title, Munawar received a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh, a brand-new car and an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy.
