After weeks of entertaining viewers with their cooking skills and comic timing, Aly Goni and Jannat Zubair were declared the winners of Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs Season 3 during the grand finale aired on Sunday.
The duo topped the leaderboard with 99 stars, outperforming fellow finalists Tejasswi Prakash and Arjun Bijlani as well as Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav, who finished as joint runners-up with 75 stars each.
Contestants earned stars throughout the season based on their performance in each culinary challenge, with the cumulative score determining the winners. Along with the championship trophy, Aly and Jannat also received smartphones and sponsor-sponsored gifts.
The finale was marked by emotional moments as contestants bid farewell to a show that had forged close friendships both on and off screen. Reflecting on the victory, Aly Goni said the bond shared among the contestants made the experience unlike any other reality show he had been part of.
He said the overwhelming response from fans after the finale announcement showed how deeply audiences had connected with the show. Calling it his favourite project, Aly revealed that he became emotional during the semi-final and credited the positive atmosphere among the contestants for making the journey unforgettable.
Jannat Zubair also expressed her emotions in an Instagram post, describing the show as one of the most memorable experiences of her career. She thanked viewers for their constant support and said the friendships, memories and experiences she gained during the season would stay with her forever. She also admitted she was already looking forward to reuniting with the cast.
Aly later shared pictures from the finale on Instagram, celebrating the title win and thanking fans for their love. He also praised Jannat, saying he could not have imagined winning the competition with anyone else and that the show had given him a friend for life.
With its blend of comedy, celebrity camaraderie and cooking challenges, Laughter Chefs Season 3 concluded on an emotional note, leaving contestants and fans alike nostalgic as another successful season came to an end.
