A body was found on the railway tracks near Bharatwada under the jurisdiction of Kalmeshwar Police Station on Thursday, creating a stir in the area.
According to preliminary information, local residents spotted the body lying on the railway tracks and immediately alerted the police. A team from Kalmeshwar Police Station rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation.
The identity of the deceased and the exact cause of death are yet to be ascertained. Police are conducting further inquiries and have sent the body for post-mortem examination.
