In a tragic incident, two young men drowned while swimming at Makardhokda village in Umred taluka of Nagpur district, leaving the local community in shock. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The accident occurred as the youths had gone to a water body at Makardhokda to swim. Preliminary information suggests they underestimated the depth of the water and drowned.
Upon receiving the alert, local residents, police personnel, and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched a search operation. The bodies of both victims were later recovered from the water.
After completing the inquest, police initiated further legal procedures.
