The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the provisional merit list for MHT CET 2026 engineering admissions.
Candidates who registered for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for BE and BTech courses can check their merit status on the official CET Cell portal.To access the provisional merit list, candidates need to log in using their application ID and date of birth.
The final merit list is scheduled to be published on July 27, 2026.Candidates can submit objections or grievances regarding the provisional merit list from July 23 to July 25, 2026, through their login portal. They can request corrections to any errors in the displayed information. The CET Cell will review all objections before releasing the final merit list.
Only candidates who have qualified the MHT CET examination are eligible to participate in the CAP counselling process. Those featured in the final merit list will be able to fill and confirm their CAP Round 1 option form between July 28 and July 30, 2026.
The MHT CET counselling process consists of three CAP rounds. After each round, the CET Cell publishes the seat matrix, detailing the number of seats available in each participating engineering college.
