Ambedkar XI recorded four wicket victory over City Shopee to win Masters Cup cricket Tournament on Sunday.
Batting first City Shopee scored 184 for three in 20 overs. Paresh Sutane played a brilliaitn knock of 62. adwait Manohar missed the half century by just three runs. Anup Fulper contributed 40. For Ambedkar, Shailesh claimed two wickets for 18 runs.
In reply, ambedkar XI achieved the target losing six wickets in 19.1 overs. thhanks to Praful Meher who slammed match winning 81 with the help of nine boundaries and two sixes. Vikrant Deshpande (36) and P Vivek (20) also batted well.
Praful Meher was also declared man-of-the-match. Anup Fulper of City Shopee was adjudged as best player of the tournament whereas Lokesh Chikhale bagged best bowler prize.
