NSS camp held at Isasani

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Priyadarshini College of Engineering conducted a seven-day youth camp at Isasani village.

The villagers were actively involved in all the activities of the camp with an aim to spread happiness and feeling of togetherness among them.

As many as 10 activities focusing to bring change in the village were conducted during the camp, which included tree plantation, garbage collection, clothes distribution, school interactions, blood donation, lecture on de-addiction, cleaning of village pond, street play, cultural events and rally.

All the activities were organised to inform the villagers that the village can become self-sufficient in all the fields and further to stress importance of cleanliness.

The villagers participated in all the programmes with great enthusiasm during the camp.

Principal of the college Dr M P Singh, vice-principal; Dr S A Dhale, NSS programme officer Dr N S Ambatkar, NSS president Vikky Lokhande and all the NSS co-ordinators, volunteers rendered their contribution to make the camp successful.
