Lokshahi Fortnight awareness programme at Kamla Nehru College

Lokshahi Fortnight will be observed from January 26 to February 10. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in this regard is organizing awareness programmes in different localities, through which, those who have completed 18 years of age are being encouraged to enroll their names in the voters’ list and thereby strengthen the democracy.

An awareness programme was held at Kamla Nehru College under the guidance of Deputy Municipal Commissioner Dr Ranjana Lade.

A selfi-stand to create awareness was erected in the college campus along with a selfie stick saying “I will enroll my name in the electoral list’ was put up in the college. The students clicked their photographs with selfie stand and selfi stick resolving to enroll their names in the electoral list.

Assistant Superintendent; Tax Valuation Department; Hanuman Nagar Zone; Vikas Raibole, Chairperson of Kamla Nehru College; Dr Suhasini Wanjari, Principal Dr Ashok Kamble, Vice-Principal Dr Pradip Dahikar, National President, Nirbhay Beti Suraksha Abhiyan; Dnyaneshwar Gurav, Working President Sanjay Katkamwar, Kamaladeep Singh, Bablu Bhai, Firoz Pathan, professors of the college Dr Madhavi Khandait, Lalita Sorte, Archana Palandurkar, Dr Sucheta Parkar, Dr Mrunal Valivkar, Dr Mamta Wagh, Varsh Abojwar, Shobhna Sharma, Arvind Rangari and others were present at the programme.
