Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur added another jewel to its crown by inaugurating its ultra-modern swimming pool on March 6, 2019. The infrastructure of an educational institution is a crucial element of the learning environment. It is a fact that high quality infrastructure facilitates, better instruction, improves student outcomes and stimulates the progress of the pupils. The Management of DPS Kamptee Road and Mihan, Nagpur always strive to provide world-class infrastructure to its pupils.
The august ceremony was presided over by a galaxy of guests. Virdhawal Khade, Arjuna Awardee and India’s most accomplished swimmer honoured the gathering as the Chief Guest. President of DPS Kamptee Road and Mihan, Tulika Kedia, graced the occasion by their solemn presence. Also distinguishing the occasion were, Pro Vice Chairman of DPS Kamptee Road and Mihan ,Ajay Mansukhani, and Principal of Delhi Public School, Mihan, Gurpreet Bhambra.
The ceremony began with the unveiling of plaque followed by the floral welcome of the guests. President, Tulika Kedia shared her elation at the inauguration ceremony followed by Virdhawal Khade who spoke eloquently praising the infrastructure of the school especially the new swimming pool. He congratulated the Management for making available for the students a platform to hone and showcase their swimming talent. The students took their inaugural plunge in the pool and showcased their excellent diving skills. The parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the school and extolled the novel edifice. At the conclusion of the ceremony, refreshments were arranged for the gathering.
The ceremony was a grand success marking the advent of a new chapter in the journey of DPS Kamptee Road, Nagpur. Admissions for the swimming pool for the coming session have already begun in great numbers. The Management of the school expressed their gratitude towards the guests, parents and students for gracing the occasion.
