CPS Katol Road win Karnewar U-14 cricket trophy

Centre Point School (CPS) Katol Road drubbed  Rajendra High School by 51 runs to win Dadasaheb Karnewar Memorial Inter-School Under-14 Cricket Tournament at St Mary School ground here on Friday.

Batting first, CPS  were all out for  104 all out in 17.3 overs. Daksh Raut scored highest 21. Shubham Sinha (18) and Wansh Chawla (16) were other main scorers. For Rajendra High School, Yash Gupta claimed three wickets for 12 runs whereas Sayam Jain got two for 27.

In reply, Rajendra High School were restricted to 53 for nine in 20 overs. Only Shri Choudhary (13) managed to cross the double figures. For CPS, Pratham Maheshwari, Rayan Rajput snared two wickets each.

Individual prizes

Best captain: Pratham Maheshwari, best batsman: Rayan Rajput, best bowler: Yash Gupta, all-rounder: Harsh Gajbhiye,  man-of-the-series: Atharva Lekurwale, best fielder: Sanaskar Chawate, best wicket-keeper: Shubham Sinha.
