GHRCE, Amravati celebrates International Women’s Day

G H Raisoni University celebrated International Women’s Day Along with millions of people around the globe, G H Raisoni University, Amravati and G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Amravati’s Women’s Grievance cell with special help of National Service Scheme celebrated International Women’s Day on recently, at seminar hall. Dr. Revati Dhavale was the chief guest of the function. Vice-Chancellor of GHRU, Amravati, Dr. Mahesh kumar Yenkie, presided over the program.

Principal GHRCEM, Amravati, Dr. Vijay Rathod, Vice- Principal, Prof. Nitin Mandaogade, HoD, Prof. Archana Vyas, was present on the dais. Dept HoD, Prof. Sneha Bohra, CSE Dept. and NSS program officer elevated the event by their presence. The event started with formal inaugural function.

All the dignitaries on the dais lightened the lamp which was followed by a Sarswati Pujan. Dr. Revati guided the students, on the importance of a women’s physical and mental health in our day to day life.

While addressing she also explained about the women’s self-respect and today’s scenario of society. She has appealed to all the women “as a women you should not ignore yourself or your self-respect, when you do injustice to yourself, how can you find the right place in the society.
