Traffic arrangements all set for ‘Ram Janmotsav Shobhayatra’

Ahead of the ‘Ram Janmotsav Shobhayatra’ , the city police have geared up with the traffic arrangements for the huge rally that will be taken out from Shri Poddareshwar Ram Mandir on April 13.

According to the elaborated traffic arrangements, all sorts of vehicles have been prohibited in the temple premises from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 3 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday.

The Shobhayatra is scheduled to pass via Mayo Hospital Square, Chowk, Naalsahab Chowk, Teen Nal Chowk, Gandhi Statue, Badkas Chowk, Gandhi Gate, Tilak Statue, Ganesh Mandir turning, Agyaram Devi Chowk, Geeta Mandir, Cotton market, Iron Bridge, Mujhe Chowk, Jhansi Rani Square, Variety Square, Sitabuldi main road, Manas Chowk, Jaistambh  and railway over bridge.

The vehicles coming towards Cotton Market Square from Mayo Hospital Square and Dosar Bhawan Chowk would be diverted via Shree Mohini Y-point , LIC Square, Samvidhan Square.

Vehicular traffics will also be diverted from Cotton Market to Guardline and Manas Chowk. From Moninpura upto Bhagwaghar Square the vehicles will be diverted towards Golibar Chowk. Vehices coming from Dhantoli Police Station direction towards Anand talkies would be diverted from  Panchasheel Chowk , Congress Nagar, and Sardar Patel Square.

The Shobhayatra on large scale is taken out every year on the birth anniversary on Lord Ram. It is organised by the Pashim Nagpur Nagaric Sangh from Ram Mandir, Ram Nagar.
