Kanak Sur Mandir to organise a Marathi Musical Mono Act ‘Namaa’ on May 1, 2019, at Sai Sabhagruha, Shankar Nagar, at 6.30 pm.
Eminent singer, Dr Datta Harkare is the vocalist, producer, writer and musician of the play. The play is based on Sant Namdev, the saint of 13th century, wherein he spreads the religion of humanity from Maharashtra to Punjab, in the ear of Mughal Empire.
He was the only saint to spreads awareness of Marathi language from Maharashtra to Punjab. The impact on Punjabi’s was so great that even they started to worship him.
City will witness a musical mono act for the first time. The entry to programme for all the visitors is free.
