Tree Plantation Project with Indian Oil Corporation on July 9

As part of its corporate responsibility, Indian Oil Corporation undertook its swacchata campaign in partnership with NDHTA, and together they undertook a tree-plantation project towards turning the environment clean and green. MSLTA Tennis Academy was looking clean and beautiful thanks to the project held today morning.

Amitabh Akhauri, Executive Director, Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai, along with Partha Bora, Chief General Manager (Maharashtra), Nitin Rodge, Deputy General Manager (Retail Sales) were the dignitaries from the public sector giant. NMC Corporator, Thakare was present and planted a sapling. Vikram Naidu, Joint-Secretary, Vijay Naidu, Treasurer and Mr Ganesh Pagay, Executive Committee member, represented the hosts NDHTA.

A number of tennis players from the MSLTA Tennis Academy were recognized and motivated by IndianOil Corp. These included Alok Misra, Akshat Dakshindas, Sejal Bhutada, Anand Marathe, Pankaj Bendre, Urvi Yadav, Madhura Shende, Kanha maheshwari and Manavendra Trivedi. They were presented with a small memento.

The dignitaries recognized the Tennis Coaches present during the function. These included Navin, Suraj, Vishal, Sandeep, Swapnil, and Rahul. A memento was presented to each of them.

Akhauri in his speech informed about the progress made by Indian Oil Corp, and how they are working to introduce better quality products including automobile fuels with stringent emission control norms. Partha Bora in his speech spoke about the importance of the environment being kept clean and encouraged the players to work hard to maintain the greens. Nitin Rodge also spoke a few words of encouragement.

The dignitaries, the players, the coaches, staff and dealers of Indian Oil did tree plantation. Species like mango, neem, gulmohur, ashoka and royal palm were planted to make the campus look even more beautiful. Indian Oil sponsored all plants. Ganesh Pagay gave vote of thanks, while Vijay Naidu conducted the function.
