The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) would conduct a public hearing in Gadchiroli on July 19. Complaints related to harassment and violence against children and juveniles. Those wanted to take part in the process can handover their complaint in written to district women and child development officer.
During the public hearing, the NCPCR team would listen to the grievances and complaints and take initiative to address them. Minors working as domestic helps and labourers at risky places, employees at shopping establishment or other businesses, acid attack victim, etc. could raise their complaint and benefit from the initiative.
The NCPCR claimed that the public hearing would also be beneficial for those who were deprived of their rights like right to education, mid-day meal, exorbitant fees at school, etc. Those suffering from mental and physical harassment at school, social boycott or any kind of harassment can also take part in the public hearing.
