MS Dhoni Cricket Academy to train coaches

MS Dhoni Cricket Academy is organizing MSDCA Coach Education Programme in the city from July 28 to August 4 under the guidance and mentorship of BCCI faculties.

MSDCA Cricket Coaching is curriculum based teaching providing for a structured and comprehensive program covering all areas of the sport. Key features in MSDCA Coaching Program is Progressive Learning, Structured Coaching Curriculum, Program focuses on overall development rather than Talent Identification process, Developing Leadership and Team Working abilities in Child and Developing Values like Courage, Integrity, Honesty, Respect, and passion to Pursuit of Excellence.

MSDCA is presently operational in 10 centers in India and 3 centers in Singapore and Dubai. MSDCA conducted 20 cities 7 Days Cricket Coaching Clinic to introduce students with modern and structured coaching. In next 3 months MSDCA will be present in more than 25 Cities in India and abroad and aspires to conduct 7 Day Cricket Coaching Clinic in more than 40 Cities in India.

While addressing media persons Mihir Diwakar of Aarka sports said, “MSDCA Coach Education Program focuses on theory and practical cricket coaching sessions and will be conducted by BCCI Faculties and Chief Coaches of MSDCA Satrajit Lahiri and Mandar Dalivi for ensuring significant value is added in learning & development of all the participants.” Mihir further added MSDCA Coach Induction Program brings together the best of learnings and methodologies from all cricketing formats for coaches with their passion and enthusiasm in Cricket and combines it with the latest coaching methodology and teaching techniques from MSDCA.

MSDCA wants to spread structured and standardized Modern Cricket Coaching across the globe and wants to create infrastructure and world class facilities in India to expose children to different cricketing conditions and different cricketing formats for advanced experience. MSDCA ensures Coaches are well trained and well versed with Sports Technology and tools which is very important in modern day coaching. Aarka Sports have been investing in different Sports Technology companies for creating influx of advanced technology for better coaching practices on ground.

During the Coach Education Programme coaches will be undergoing specialized training under the guidance of accredited coaches from BCCI and NCA selected by Panel of Coaches; Satrajit Lahiri and Mandar Dalivi who are BCCI and NCA Level 3 and who are also MS Dhoni Cricket Academy Chief Coaches. Program is designed for 7 days and Assessment on 8th Day for both theory and practical. Aspiring Coaches will also be trained on basic computing skills and sports technology tools, presentation skills, First Aids and Coaching Skills.
