With a mission to promote art and culture and provide platform to the budding artistes of Vidarbha, Chitnavis Centre in association with Saptasur had organised an evening of Ghazals, Jashn-e-Ghazal, on Sunday, 28th July at Banyan Hall, Chitnavis Centre. The musical evening was presented by disciples of Surmani Pt. Prabhakar Dhakde Guruji.

Bhupesh Sawai – Harmonium, Shrikant Pise – Synthesizer, Charudata Jhichkar – Octopad, Pramod Bawane – Tabla, Praful Waghmare – Dholak, Gaurav Tanksale – Guitar, Compere: Vrushali Deshpande
Singers presented Ghazals of noted writers, Jigar Muradabadi, Daagh Dehlavi, Kishwar Naheed and more. Some also presented mushairas penned by themselves.
Famous Senior poet / shayar Dr. Sagar Khadiwali, Shri. Gop Hirani were present for the program. The program started with lamp lighting at the hands of Shri. Dhakde Guruji and other guests.
Pt. Prabhakar Dhakde Guruji himself was accompanying on Violin.
