In a welcome move, with an aim to curb cheating of actors by bogus directors and producers, the Vidarbha fraction of All India Film Corporation has decided to take auditions of the new actors and provide the data to the producers.
At present, by introducing bogus banner, director and mentioning a well-known personality as producer bogus auditions are going on in all overstate. For many times the gullible strugglers fall prey to such bogus directors and producers. By organizing auditions these bogus directors collect a huge amount from the actors. Taking note of all these illegal affairs, the corporation will conduct the auditions and provide the data to producers or directors.
From August 6, the corporation will complete the first round of auditions. The chairman of corporation Meghraj Rajebhosale and Vidarbha coordinator Raj Kuber introduced the concept. Narendra Shinde and Rupali More are coordinating the audition process.
Corporation has fixed few rules as per which the actors, directors, producers, technicians and everyone related to film industry have to adopt identity card from corporation. Due to this system, those who face injustice can get legal help. The corporation has decided to organize auditions every week. As the Vidarbha branch has more than 200 members, their auditions will begin from Tuesday. With the inclusion of new members, their auditions will be organized on a fixed day in a week.
Those who are willing to make a film can get actors data on the corporation website. Thanks to online data, there will be no need for auditions. The process will also avert the cheating of actors.
For many times the news of cheating by producers and directors make viral due to which the genuine producers face injustice. “I am also a film producer and I am fully aware of this situation due to which the corporation has taken this decision”, said Meghraj Rajebhosale.
