Shree FC blanked Friends United 2-0 in ongoing Kusum Sahare Memorial Vidarbha-level Football Tournament jointly organised by Aai Kusum Sahare Foundation and Nagpur Municipal Corporation at Reshimbagh ground, here on Thursday. Mohammad Ramiz gave the lead to Shree FC in the 11th minute. After a change of ends, Nitin Gupta scored second goal and ensured comfortable victory.
In another match Birsa Munda defeated Nagpur Centre 3-1. In the 31st minute Shailesh Kathoute opened the scoring for Birsa Munda. However his joy was short-lived as three minutes later Riyaz Ansari levelled the score. After an equaliser both the teams battled it out to take the lead. In the 38th minute, Aman Kathoute gave 2-1 lead to Birsa Munda. In the 41st minute, Vijay Kathoute found the net and sealed the fate of opponents.
In another match Dhantoli FC overcame Mangalwari 2-1. Thanks to Pravin Barge who scored both the goals for Dhantoli in the 7th and 36th minute. Shubham Chourasi scored the lonely goal for Mangalwari in 33rd minute.
Bezanbagh FC defeated Unity Club 2-0. Atir (28th min) and Johny Bernad (49th min) scored one goal each. Sonu FC got the better of Ritesh FC 3-2 via tie-breaker. The score was nil during the regulation time. In penalty shootout, Jafar Ansari, Monu Ansari and Zulfikar Ansari perfectly scored the goals for Sonu FC. For Ritesh FC, Chetan Katakwar and Shubhham scored the goals.
