Like every year to eliminate the evils from the society, this year too, ‘Marbat’ and Badgya will be taken out on the second day of the pola. The historic “Marbat Utsav” is the only unique festival of the country that is celebrated only in Nagpur. The preparations for this are being held at Marbat Chowk in Budhwari.
Artisans are engaged in making the Pili Marbat. On the second day of the big pola, black and yellow marbat rally is taken out in the city. Black Marbat rally is taken from Nehru’s statue whereas Yellow Marbat rally is taken out from Jagannath Budhwari.
