National Service Scheme of the college was recently organized in conjunction with Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy, Besa, Nagpur, and Besa-Beltarodi Gram Panchayat. Around 450 students from Degree & Diploma college participated in the program. Along with the Sanitation Mission of India, the students also affirmed the importance of sanitation by giving guidance and distributed the pamphlets on hygiene and health awareness to the citizens of Besa-Beltaroti area.
On the occasion, students of the degree and diploma college, teachers and non-teaching staff organized the program’s Forest Festival-2019" in the area of the college and under this program, the students planted various herbs in the herbal garden of the college.
The program was organized by Manoj V., President of the college. Balpande, Besa- Beltrodi Gram Panchayat’s mother. Sarpanch Surendraji Banai and other office bearers of Besa-Beltrodhi Gram Panchayat, Mukesh Kale, Sunilji Sontakke, Lata Ingle, Nanda Ingle, Sima Trimgarwar, Shalini Kangali, Seema Gadpande, Sanjay Bhoyar, Shri Jitu Chandurkar, Kalyani Jaipurkar and Principal of the Degree College Dr. Prominent among those present were Ujwala Mahajan and Principal of the College of Pedagogy, Nitin Dumore, Social Worker Girishji Gadge.
