Musical event “Jeevan Ke ras†by Survandita, mesmerised the nagpurians with the musical journey on Sunday night held at the Scientific Society hall. Conceptualized by Uma Raguraman and Hemant Darvekar, the program had 29 songs, selected over a wide range available.
Their singers namely Uma Raghuraman, Hemant Darvekar, Nupur Godbole, GopalIyer, Manish Nair, Manisha Tiwari, and Purnima Joshi, attracted the audiences with their voices and with earnestness.
Songs that were rendered comprised ‘Bindiya Chamkegi’, ‘Mai Tumme Sama Jaun, ‘Jiya Le Gayo Re Mora Sawaria, ‘Man Kyo Behka Re’, ‘Cat Cat, Cat Mane Billi’, ‘Thande Thande Pani Se Nahana Chahiye’, ‘Tujko Pukare Mera Pyar’ and many more.
During the event, the organisers felicitated highly experienced musicians like Mahendra Dhole, Nandu Gohane, Pawan Manwatkar, Parimal Joshi for their contribution to making programmes popular and entertaining.
