Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, flights between Mumbai and Nagpur remained affected on Thursday. On Thursday, three flights from Mumbai landed here at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport Nagpur nearly an hour late.
According to sources, Air India’s flight AI 627 from Mumbai to Nagpur reached here at 8.35 am instead of its scheduled arrival time of 7.20. Similarly, IndiGo airlines flight 6E403 from Mumbai to Nagpur arrived here at 6 pm with a delay of about half an hour while another IndiGo flight 6E 5377 arrived one hour late at around 10.30 pm.
Sources said, Delhi-Nagpur also reached late at 9.30 pm, late by 45 minutes. Due to incessant rains in Mumbai, air services were also affected on Wednesday. Nearly six flights coming from Mumbai to Nagpur reached here with a delay of one to six hours.
Flights departing from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport too were also late, because of which passengers faced great inconvenience.
IndiGo Airlines Flight 6E 5388 Mumbai-Nagpur reached Nagpur at 2.22 pm with a delay of 1.22 hours on Wednesday while 6E 403 Mumbai-Nagpur reached here late by 5.55 hours at 10.30 pm. Go Air’s G8 142 Mumbai-Nagpur arrived one hour late at 9.23 pm while Go Air’s 141 also arrived late by an hour.
Air India’s flight AI 629 Mumbai-Nagpur arrived here at midnight. Apart from this, 6E 5377 Mumbai-Nagpur, which was supposed to arrive at  9.40 pm, reached with a delay of about one hour.
