In India, breaking rules and regulations are treated as a common thing, and when it comes to breaking traffic and parking rules it is considered as their birthright. Recently the new administrative building of NMC headquarters has witnessed such an incident which in its complete sense underlines the so-called attitude. In the new administrative building of NMC headquarters, there is special space allotted for the parking of the Divyang (Physically challenged persons). A special type of tiles were also fitted there. And the NMC Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar had given strict orders to the guard that space is only for Divyangs only. Despite the warning, NMC employees park their vehicles there.
On Friday, some Divyangs vehicles were trapped in the parking space due to the other vehicles and the Congress corporator Dinesh Yadav had raised the issue with the NMC Commissioner. And when the employees reached the parking lot to pick their vehicles and found that their vehicles are locked with extra locks. They are informed that the NMC Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar had ordered to lock the vehicles. They got a warning regarding the matter and finally, they are allowed to take their vehicles.
Corporator Dinesh Yadav stated that these type of incidents happened in the past also, and complaints were registered to the Commissioner many times but the employees repeated the same mistakes.
