 5th Dadasahib Somalwar Memorial U/14 Inter School Basketball Tournament 2019

On Day -6 of the 5th Dadasahib Somalwar Memorial U/14 Inter School Basketball Tournament 2019 Final matches were played today. The results of these matches are as follows.

Day – 6 Final Match in Girls Section CPS W’Nagar  x Saraswati Vidyalaya

CPS W’Nagar Girls bt   Saraswati Vidyalaya by 29-10. (03-04, 12-04, 12-02, 02-00) Top Scorer from CPS W’Nagar   Siya Agrawal – 14 points.

Best Player of the Tournament in Girls Section – Kanak Kothari of CPS W’Nagar.

Day -6 Final Match in Boys section CPS W’Nagar x Somalwar Nikalas

CPS W’Nagar Boys bt   Somalwar Nikalas by 52-21 (11-04, 12-04, 16-08, 29-07) Top Scorer from CPS W’Nagar  Aryan Awchat – 12 Points & Yatarth Punekar -14 points. From Somalwar Nikalas Parth Deshmukh – 10 points.

Best Player of the Tournament in Boys Section – Yatharth Punekar of CPS W’Nagar

The Prizes were distributed at the hands of Adv. M. L. Somalwar, President, Prakash P. Somalwar, Secretary, R. P. Somalwar, Vice-President and . Seema Somalwr, Member Somalwar Academy Education Society in the August presence of the Members of Somalwar Academy Mahesh Somalwar Supriya Kolwadkar, Managements Invitee Shri Vyankatesh Somalwar, Principal Somalwar Nikalas V. W. Joshi and Head Mistress Primary Section Mrs Sheetal Gharode.

In his speech P. P. Somalwar appreciate all the team members of the final match for their valiant efforts and congratulate the winners.

P. Chande conducted the program and proposed the vote of thanks. Chande thanks to all the technical officials of the Nagpur District Basketball Association for their valuable support in successful conduction of the tournament. He also thanks all the participating teams, their coaches, Principals of all the participating schools. He extended his special thanks to Print media Sports editors and their photographers for their excellent coverage and boosting the players, to Bhavesh Kuchanwar, Secretary, NDBA and all the members of Nagpur District Basketball Association for their valuable co-operation.

Ashish Bhide, Organising Secretary of the tournament,  Smita Bakre NIS Basketball coach, Virendra Jodh, Uday Deo, N. S. Jagtap, Mishra, Alkesh Yelne and other members of the organizing committee work hard to make the event a grand success.

The prizes were distributed to all the Winner & Runners-up teams and the individual memento to winner and runner-up team members also the best player of the tournament.
