Dr.Nitin Barde: Decrease in temperature increases skin diseases

The decrease in temperature is also affecting the health of the people especially the rise in skin diseases. The patients with skin diseases like dry skin, rashes, rough skin and itchy skin have increased. And in winter the people should avoid the skin to be dry. The famous dermatologist in the city Dr.Nitin Barde has stated. He also added that during summer, due to sweat the skin always became moist and hence skin diseases are easily prevented. On the contrary, this is not happening in winter season and leads to skin diseases. So the use of moisturizers is important. He also advised the people to use sunscreen. He said that in comparison to summer the UV rays are strong in winter hence use of sun screen lotion is necessary in winter.

During winter, the diet must include plenty of fresh fruits, dry fruits, green leafy vegetables and coconut water. And should drink plenty of water. He also urged people to not to ignore allergies as in winter the sun rays can cause red rashes on skin on body part and if this happened then proper advice of doctor should be taken.
