With a slogan “Hum Sab Ek Hai” Nagpurians protest against CAA, NRC

It’s been a month and the protest against The Citizenship (Amendment) Act and National Register of Citizens is nowhere to end easily. Everyday thousands of people from different communities come together to protest against the bill.

Photos by Chandrakant PaddhaneIn Nagpur around 300 people gathered around at Samvidhan Sqare on January 21 in support of the people who will be affected with the implementation of CAA/NRC bill. Citizens from all the fields including, writers, Artists, Advocates, Students, Social workers took part in the protest today.The protest was in a form where students, artists performed play, songs, speech with a slogan “Hum Sab Ek Hai” and showed their support for those being affected by the ACT.

On this regard a letter was also submitted by the group to the Nagpur Collector. The letter includes 7 important points on how the ACT will affect the country and people living in it.

People from various communities took part and shared their thoughts against the bill.
