An art form, sculptures, painting show the talent and even describes the culture of every community or city. Where Nagpur is famous for its vivid culture many groups work round-a-clock to beautify the city more with their artistic manifestations.
A new sculpture is added in this list which is gaining attention of masses for its unique look and style at Lokmat Square.
The sculpture is made by Mumbai based artist Suryakant Lokhande and the statue represents common man. It is one of its kinds as the status; a man with a bag can be seen in his hand while the stomach portion in the sculpture is missing. These kinds of art are not commonly seen in Orange city which makes it more unique for the general public and generate curiosity among them.
It is said that the sculpture was made with 553 kg of brass and completed in 4 stages in duration of 8 months.
