JCI Nagpur Medico in association with Sayali Children Hospital  has successfully conducted a drawing competition at Kamptee Cantonment. The topic for the contest was SAY NO TO PLASTIC.The concept was to make these children aware about the hazards of the plastic use and its effect on environment.
Nearly 1200 students had participated in this competition with great enthusiasm.Age group 4-7yrs participated in the coloring competition wheras age group 7-12yrs showed their skills with meaningful and apt to the topic drawing competition. Every year Dr. Sanjay Pakhmode conducts drawing competition on burning issues.
JCI Nagpur medico has started the DOCTORS FOR ENVIORNMENT campaign and this was one step towards creating awareness amongst the masses. Hence Mega drawing and colouring competition was organised as a joint venture at scenic place with lush green surroundings of Kamptee club Kamptee. The chief guest for the event was Dr.Subrojit Dasgupta, Director of Rastrasant Tukadoji Cancer Hospital, Nagpur and Dr. Kalpana Dasgupta, retired Professor and Head of Dept, ENT at GMC, Nagpur. Guest of Honor was Zone Secretary of Zone IX JCI India JC Kiran Rajkhokar and  CEO of Lokashahi Warta Shri Bhaskar Londhe, Zone Director PUblic relation, JC Dr.Smita Pakhmode .JC Saurabh Loya represented the JR JC wing.
JC Dr.Swati Sarda extended welcome remarks to all explained the need to work on the climate change and save environment.Dr.Sanjay Pakhmode, Director Sayali Children Hospital briefed about the competition and said that is was the 10th successive year of organising this event and that the kids await for this competition and look forward for it. Chief Guest Dr.Dasgupta congratulated the team of JCI Nagpur Medico and and Sayali Children hospital for the wonderful concept and its execution.GOH JC Kiran appreciated the theme and the number of participants.She also expressed the need to take steps on Save Enviornment. Mr. Suresh Bhoyar, General Secretary , Maharashtara state, All india Congress party gave his special visit to the occasion.
On this occasion President JCI Nagpur Medico JC Dr.Swati Sarda felicitated Shri Bhaskar Londhe, Mr.Zilpe amongst the journalist and Mr.Nilesh Electricity Linemen for their untiring work in their fields under the campaign of Salut to Silent Workers, an initiative by JCI, India. Other special guests were Mr. Arif bhai,  Mr. Eknathrao Pakhmode, Dr. Mr. And Mrs. Murali, Mr. Akshay Londhe and Mr. Roshan Narad. Mr. Vinay Sharma and Staff of Sayali Children hospital worked hard for the success of the programme.
