NMC issues order to remove makeshift bridge on Nag river

Nagpur Municipal Corporation has ordered to remove the iron makeshift bridge that has been constructed on Nag river adjoining land given on lease to Crazy Castle Ambazari lake.

While conducting a survey of the riverbed and adjoining areas the civic staff found a makeshift iron bridge in river bed near Ambazari. A slab has been constructed in the riverbed. According to sources, no approval was given for the makeshift bridge made on the riverbed.

Taking quick action on it, a letter was sent by the enforcement department of NMC to Nagpur Improvement Trust as it has given this land to Crazy Castle on lease stating to remove the bride. Following the letter from NMC the executive engineer (west) of Nagpur Improvement Trust issued notice to owner of Crazy Castle and ordered to remove encroachment within three days.

The directors of Crazy Castle are cooperating in removing encroachment.
