Hotel association extend support to CAIT for boycott Chinese campaign

While extending full-fledged support to ” Boycott Chinese Campaign” of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), the Delhi Hotels & Restaurant Owners Association (DHROA) announced that the Budget Hotels & Guest Houses in Delhi will not provide any accommodation to Chinese Nationals. In view of the nefarious activities of China, it has been decided that no Chinese will be accommodated in Delhi’s hotels and guest houses from now onwards.! Delhi has about 3000 budget hotels and guest houses with about 75 thousand rooms.

While announcing this decision today, Mr. Mahendra Gupta, General Secretary and Mr. Sandeep, President of Delhi Hotels & Restaurants Association told the manner in which the Chinese army is behaving with Indian forces at the borders which has resulted into killing of 20 Indian soldiers, the Hotel Industry is deeply upset and having a gross resentment against China and therefore it has thought better to join the campaign of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) . Mr. Gupta further said that the Association has also decided not to use any chinese made products in their Hotels & Guest Houses like furniture, Kitchen Accessories, Cutleries, Decorative items etc.

CAIT National President Mr. B. C. Bhartia & Secretary General Mr. Praveen Khandelwal while welcoming the decision of the Hotels Association said that with such a decision it is quite evident that people from all walks of life are more willing to join the campaign of the CAIT .They said that in this context the CAIT will now make all efforts  to rope in other various sectors  like Farmers, Transporters, Small Industries, Consumers, Hawkers, Self entrepreneurs, Women entrepreneurs, etc will make an appeal to them to join the campaign. CAT will now contact national organizations of transport, farmers, hawkers, small scale industries, consumer entrepreneurs themselves, women entrepreneurs and connect them with this campaign!

Mr. Bhartia & Mr. Khandelwal further said that in its next step, the CAIT will also contact other important sectors of the Country including Media personnels, IAS & IPS Officers, Employees of Private Sectors, IRS and IFS officials, Students, CA, Company Secretaries, Government Employees, Religious Leaders, Motivational Speakers, Retired Judges and Judicial Officers, Advocates,Retired Para Military Forces, Retired Police and other officials,, Resident Welfare Association and many other  such organizations across Country and will request them to join the Boycott Chinese Products national campaign being run under the flagship movement “  BHartiya Saamaan – Hamara Abhiman ”

They further said that this time the people of India are determined to teach a lesson to China and by December 2021, the traders along with the people of India will reduce the imports from China to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh crore  and this money will be used in Indian economy.
