In a review meeting with the officials, Nagpur Mayor Sandip Joshi announced that Nagpur will observe Weekend Janta Curfew till Septemeber 30 as complete lockdown is not possible in the city.
The two-day Janta curfew will be observed in the city as the city is continuously witnessing a constant surge in the number of patients and death. On September 16 city again recorded 2052 new patients taking the total to 57482 and registered the highest single-day death to date as 60 patients succumbed to the infection taking the toll to1815.
