Paytm to charge 2% extra for using credit cards for adding money

One of the biggest online payment facilities of India Paytm has begun charging 2 % extra for using credit cards for adding money. Paytm has updated its terms and conditions for using credit cards for adding money.

This means that if you add Rs 100 to your wallet using a credit card, then you need to pay Rs 2 extra.

Informing about the update Official Customer Care Handle for PaytmBank updated the customers by tweet “We would like to inform you that with effect from 15 October 2020, a fee of 2% (inclusive of GST) shall be charged for all transactions of adding money into your Paytm wallet via Credit Card”.

In January, Paytm had announced that 2% extra will be charged on using a credit card for adding money into the wallet, but this was applicable only for transactions under Rs 10000. But now, 2% will be charged on all the transactions.
