Much needed change, Mumbai traffic police asked to refrain from impolite behaviour

One really gets surprised when they hear traffic police addressing with all the kindness and politeness in Nagpur as it is a rare thing to happen. Many commuters are often seen complaining to get pulled over even after not violating any rules and following all the traffic norms and when raise questions traffic police are seen misbehaving with them.
Traffic Police personnel do not treat them properly in the name of action. The language they use is also not correct. They behave in a very rude manner with men or women. And the commuters only question is when will traffic cops treat them nicely and in a decent manner.

While on the other hand Mumbai Traffic Police recently have been instructed to address the citizens in a civilized manner and address them with respect by Joint police commissioner Yashaswi Yadav. They are also instructed that if caught violating traffic rules, talk to them in a gentle and civilized manner.
As an experiment this is the order Recently, Yadav had instructed the Mumbai traffic police personnel to behave in a decent manner with the drivers and the citizens. Address them as Sir, Madam, or Shriman, Shrimati so that a better dialogue between the police and citizens can be created. For this, he gave a week’s time to the traffic cops.
