More than 5 lakh bank employees would be benefitted by 11th IBA and UFBU wage settlement

Twentieth triannual conference of Vidarbha Bank Employees Federation, an affiliate of National Organisation of Bank Workers(NOBW) was held on December 12 at Devi Ahalya Mandir Dhantoli.During the programme All India Financial Sector in charge of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh,Ramnath Kini said that 11th bi-partite wage settlement was signed between Indian Banks Association (IBA) and United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) an umbrella organization of all bank unions in November 2017.IBA had offered only 2 percent rise in pay which increased up to 15 percent after the protest from the workers.

More than 5 lakh bank employees will be benefited by this settlement. He added. Suresh Choudhary, Dada Mulvande, Sanjay Chepurwar, Shyam Huddar and Nanda Tapase were felicitated as Covid-19 warrior for rendering their services to and who retired during pandemic situation.VBEF president Vinayak Joshi made introductory remarks and vote of thanks was proposed by Suresh Choudhary.A new body was elected for a further period of three years.
