CET Cell again extends date for submission of documents for engineering admission

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET ) Cell has again extended the date of submission of documents for the admissions to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses come under Directorate of T e c h n i c a l Education (DTE). As per information, students can submit the applications with all the documents by today. Some students faced the problem of gathering the documents like original certificate of Economically Weaker Section (EWS), original certificate of NCL, original caste validity certificate. After the request of the students and their parents, the CET Cell has decided to extend the date to January 20. Now, students have to submit all the required documents through their login on-line by today.

The admission of students of first round will be cancelled if they fail to submit the documents by January 20. These students will become eligible in second round from the open category. This facility is being given to the students who have applied for the above three documents and submitted the receipts on-line. The revised timetable of admission has been displayed on the websitewww.mahacet.org The seat acceptance by students as per the allotment of round 1 of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) has to be done by students by today up to 3 pm. Students will have to report the allotted institute and confirm the admission by submitting required documents and payment of fee after CAP round 1 till today. Provisional vacant seats for CAP Round II will be held on January 21. On-line submission and confirmation of option form of CAP round II through candidate’s login will be conducted between January 21 and January 23. The provisional allotment of CAP Round II will be displayed on January 25. The seat acceptance by students as per the allotment of CAP round II has to be done by students between January 26 and January 30 up to 3 pm. Students will have to report the allotted institute and confirm the admission by submitting required documents and payment of fee after CAP round II between January 27 and January 30 till 5 pm. The academic activities in all institutes will begin on January 21 while February 5 has been fixed as cut off date for all types of admissions. The institutes have to upload data of admission by February 6.
