In a shocking incident, construction workers killed their supervisor owing to night-duty issue in Lokmanya Nagar in MIDC area. The deceased is identified as Samharu Avadhu Harijan, a resident of Khurmakhas in Uttar Pradesh. After the incident the MIDC police have arrested all the three accused. The accused are identified as Dinesh Kumar Munna Lal(19),a resident of Mohammadpur in Uttar Pradesh,Bajrangi Lalchand Prasad Gautam(23) and Sushilkumar Deepchand Gautam(19).The nephew of Samharu Harijan,Sanjiva had got the contract of wiring in metro project.Samrahu since 2018,have been living in Nagpur and he used to manage payments and attendance of workers.
The company in which Samharu was working had undertaken a site work in Gandhibagh and he used to take orders at the site along with along with him. On Thursday, after working for the whole day, the workers returned back from site to their huts in Lokmanya Nagar. At 8 pm, he asked the three workers to go and join night duty. Tired workers refused to follow the Samharu’s order and after the workers quarrelled and during this, accused Dinesh Kumar stabbed Samharu in his chest in which he got killed on the spot. After getting information, MIDC police rushed to the spot and filed the case of murder.
