With the unprecedented spread of the deadly virus, India made a new record by registering 3,52,991 new cases in the last 24 hours and 2,812 deaths, India saw a new record high and 2.19 Lakh recoveries as a deadly second wave sweeps the country.
Looking the situation many countries like US, Britain, France and Germany have offered support as the unprecedented surge overwhelms the country’s hospitals.
With more than 3.5 lakh new case India has 1,73,13,163 confirmed cases while 1,43,04,382 has recovered. Active cases stands at 28,13,658 and the Death tally reached to 1,95,123.
5 States/UTs D&D & D&N, Tripura, Lakshadweep, Mizoram and A&N Islands report No death in the last 24 hours. As India completed 100 days of the largest vaccination drive the cumulative Vaccination Coverage exceeds 14.19 Crore (14,19,11,223).
