Just a week ago, the COVID-19 deaths were giving headache to administration, hospitals in Nagpur district. But now everybody is heaving a sigh of relief
as the death count has gone down. On Sunday, the district reported 24 fatalities which is all time low figure in one single day due to the dreaded virus.
On Sunday, new COVID-19 cases registered 1042 maintaing the less than 2k row taking the cumulative of positive cases to 471059. From the total fresh cases, 300 were residents of Nagpur city while 732 were from rural areas.
The district witnessing costant rise in COVID-19 recovery from last few days on Sunday 2326 recoveries from the virus were reported in the district. This has taken the cumulative recovery to 448357. The speed with which the persons are recovering, is reducing the gap between cumulative recovery number and cumulative positive cases.
The good recovery has paved way for fall in active cases as those stood at 13934. The recovery rate rose to 95.18%.
The COVID testing in Nagpur district has come down by 18016.
