A leopard was spotted in a locality near IT Park, Nagpur on Friday.
The leopard was seen by Kishor Jagtap in his backyard. He immediately closed the doors of his house and also alerted the neighbours.
Forest Department officials were informed about it. They reached the spot and are searching for the big cat.
The leopard is suspected to have reached the residential area via Biodiversity Park behind Ambazari lake.
It might have entered the area in search of cool, shredded place in scorching summer of the region.
