Bird Group’s executive director Ankur Bhatia passed away on Friday at the age of 48 after a massive cardiac arrest.
Bhatia is survived by his wife Smriti Bhatia and his two children Arnav and Saina.
Bhatia is credited to have brought the Amadeus brand to the Indian sub-continent in 1994, which today provides travel technology for travel agents and airlines.
He helped the group growth that made a substantial contributions to the company and industry at large.
