In a deeply felt loss for the women’s volunteer organization Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Pramil Tai Medhe, former chief (Pramukh Sanchalika), passed away recently in Nagpur. She was the fourth national head of the Samiti, one of the prominent women’s affiliates of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh .
Pramil Tai Medhe had assumed leadership after voluntarily taking charge from her ailing predecessor, Usha Tai Chati, the third chief of the Samiti . Usha Tai, noted for her lifetime dedication and revered leadership, had handed over her responsibilities when health issues forced her to step back.
At this moment of mourning, the Rashtra Sevika Samiti and the broader Sangh family extend their condolences. With the passing of Pramil Tai Medhe, the organization has lost yet another pillar of dedicated leadership.
