Virtual Skill Development Program organised by T.B.R.A.Ns Mundle English Medium School

Children are inquisitive by nature. They are curious to learn and explore new things. To develop their
potential The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School has organised Virtual
Skill Development Program for students of classes 1st to 8th

The program started from 17th May 2021.
The activities that have been conducted for Std. I to III are English Handwriting, Shlok recitation,
Storytelling in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Students from Std. IV to VI explored their skills in Craft –
Puppet making etc., Yoga, Shlok recitation, Maths in Everyday life, Science in Everyday life, Nutrition,
English life skills, Eco bricks activity was conducted for creating awareness of Non biodegradable waste
management. VII and VIII Std. Students showed their active participation in activities like Waste
Management, Craft, Maths and Science in Everyday life, English, and yoga.

Various other skills will also be conducted in the coming days by the School teachers. Students participated enthusiastically and are eagerly waiting for the coming activities.

Healthy mind resides in a healthy body. To create awareness of healthy living and consuming nutritious
food, program on Nutritious food and its benefits was also conducted by School teacher and Coordinator Mrs. Shilpa Dongre.

The Eco bricks and Waste Management Activity was conducted by Ex. Student of the school and
Research Scholar Miss. Jue Pandharipande who is pursuing PhD in Environmental Science.( Field of work
‘Solid Waste Management’). Miss Jue is Volunteer and Member of Central team of National level Organization called Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi from last one year. She is even going to conduct an activity on ‘Seed Balls and Indoor Plants’.

To imbibe Moral Values in children Shlok Recitation was conducted by resource persons for classes I, II
and III. For Std. II, Vice President Ahilya Mandir Mrs. Jaishree Khandekar, for Std. I Mrs. Sunaina Kothe
and for Std. III Mrs. Sunita Joshi guided children in Shlok recitation.

This Virtual Skill Development Program was initiated and implemented under the able guidance of
Chairman Shri Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Dr. Mrs. Rupali Hingwe, and Headmistress Primary,
Mrs. Megha Padhye.
