The nurses in all government hospitals in the state will go on from June 21 over pending demands like recruitment, promotion, Covid allowance, leave.
As per the information, the first two days will be two-hour no work to draw the attention of the government, while the next two days will be full day no work.

If the demands are not met, the Maharashtra State Nurses Association has warned of indefinite agitation from June 25.
It is worth mentioning that all government hospitals in the state have very few nurses as compared to the number of patients. This has put a strain on the nurses.
Shahzad Baba Khan, vice-president of the
Nagpur Association, said that the problem was due to non-filling of vacancies on time and non increase in the number of nurses from time to time.
