Despite setting up 116 vaccination camps around the city for 18+ many had to go empty hand as vaccine doses were finished till 4 pm in many vaccination centres on Saturday.
People who had their slots booked after many trials and errors had to return home without getting jabbed with either first/second vaccine dose.
NMC yesterday shared that after receiving Covishield vaccine from the state government, vaccination of citizens of all ages above 18 years of age will be done on Saturday at 116 government centers including Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Covishield vaccine will be provided free of cost to citizens in this age group. They will be vaccinated from 11 am to 5 pm. Registration can be done both online and offline.
The major issue raised by people who already had their slots booked had to visit the vaccination centres in the given time but since the government began accepting offline registration it has created a hassle in the vaccination centres due to which vaccines are being administered offline candidates.
