The daily number of Covid patients, which has been below 25 for the past few days, rose slightly to 48 on Friday.
However, no deaths were reported for the sixth day in a row. Total 30 patients were found in urban areas and 18 in rural areas. The total number of patients in Nagpur district has reached 477137 and the death toll has stabilized at 9025.
On Friday, 87 patients were freed from the novel coronavirus taking the cumulative of recoveries to 467885. The recovery rate rose to 98.06 percent. While the active cases further droped to 224.
The second wave of corona had more 10,000 patients in January, 15,000 plus in February, 76,000 plus in March, more than 1 lakh in April, 66,818 in May and a minimum of 2,447 in June.
June turned out to be good month for the health sector and administration as the cases started gowing down and death zero providing much to the relief of the citizens as well.
