The captain of Biman Bangladesh aircraft Naushad Ataul Qayyum, who had suffered heart attack mid-air, is reported to be in critical condition. He is currently undergoing treatment at Kingsway Hospital in the city.
The hospital’s critical care specialist Dr Virendra Belekar said that accord ing to the report of the CT 1, heart attack occurred due to bleeding in a partic ular part of the brain.
The pilot is currently on a ventilator and in critical condition. The manager of Biman Bangladesh arrived at the hospital on Saturday to inquire about his condi tion. Naushad’s sister is in the US. She had a telephon ic conversation with the doctors.
