Two boys in Mathura were ran over by a train while playing PUBG.

Two young boys were crushed to death by a cargo train on the single Mathura-Kasganj track in the Laxmi Nagar region while playing PUBG, a popular online game.

One of the phones was destroyed in the crash, but the other was still running PUBG when it was found.

When the accident occurred, the kids were out on a walk.

“We don’t know exactly which train was passing when the tragedy occurred,” Shashi Prakash Singh, Station House Officer (SHO) of Jamunapar police station, stated.

The bodies have been taken for a post-mortem examination.

Gaurav Kumar, a class 10 student at Guru Nanak Dev Public School, and his neighbour Kapil Kumar, a class 10 student at BGB Braj Education Academy Senior Secondary School, have been identified as the deceased boys.

The victims laying on the railway track were discovered by a few passers-by, who alerted the police.

Gaurav’s father, Rahul Kumar, a dairy farmer, explained that his son had decided to go for a walk.

“He remarked, “Today was the first day of his walk, and I wanted him to make it a habit, but he’s gone now.” He had seized his father’s phone and was using it.

Kapil, who lives approximately 100 metres from Gaurav’s home, was taken for a walk by a friend.

“We have no idea what this internet game is all about.” I would never have given him a phone if I had known,” said Kapil’s father, Sanjay Kumar, who owns a business.
